The
Mothers' Union
is a Christian organisation which promotes the
well-being of families worldwide. The organisation has more than a million
members in 65 countries all working towards improving family life in their
communities through practical action and prayer.
It is an organisation with a global voice, influencing issues such as international debt and family welfare. The Mothers' Union is involved in vital outreach projects in prisons, contact centres, hospitals, refugee camps, in fact, wherever there is a need. Members worldwide are united in prayer and fellowship.
Oban Branch meetings are held in St John's Episcopal Cathedral on the third Wednesday of each month at 2.15 pm, and a corporate communion service is held on the first Wednesday of the month at 11 am.
